All of the staff members that were involved in my visit / care were kind and considerate of my needs. I would particularly like to commend the staff working in minor injuries that attended to my fractured wrist - Mr D Clarke was especially kind before, during and after the manipulation of the fracture. He explained every step of the procedure clearly which reduced my anxiety greatly. I’m also aware that he stayed well beyond the end of his shift that evening.

I was completely satisfied with my visit. I arrived expecting a very long wait and in fact I waited less than 2 hours to be seen / assessed.

Sometimes it seemed that there were quite long periods of time when I couldn’t catch the attention of a member of staff , although they were very busy,quite worrying when I had been admitted with possible heart problems.
Suggested improvements
More staff would be helpful . I appreciate that they are working when 3 or 4 are gathered around the computer station but patients do not always understand perhaps better communication is needed

The nurse in charge muddled my X-ray up with another patient and so I was given the advice etc that was for her. I left feeling confused and the situation was only clarified the next day by a phone consultation from the fracture clinic.

The staff in Stratford minor injures where very helpful and the volunteers especially took there time to show me to the X-ray department nothing was to much trouble , not sure if I was miss informed by Stratford or Coventry as Stratford told me to go straight to Coventry and I would be seen straight away they where expecting me which was reassuring as a very nervous dental patient but when I got to Coventry it was a different story I had to wait for 6 hours to be seen after 3 hours I decided to pay and go private so I left without being seen

The staff wether they are drs nurses or even cleaners were fabulous they did everything they could for me even though it took a very long time but that’s just the way it is at the moment

Just seen me earlier and hopefully they will get ambulances available for such horrible conditions I was in agony and had to wait four hours plus I then rang again because of how much pain I was having and was told that an ambulance would still take another four to seven hours or could I get someone to take me in thankfully I rang my son and he came and took me in and he stayed with me because I was just left in the waiting area in such a state
